- Subject- Build a small relationship with your subject to make them feel more comfortable and relaxed so it makes it easier to the shot you require
- Lighting- If you're talking photo's outside and the sun is shining behind your subject, it would be recommended for the sun to be shining behind you and the camera so the lighting can be used for effect on the subject. Make sure there is no large shadows on the subjects face because it could mess the image up but some shadows could be used to a good effect to make the face stand out.
- Quality- If you notice something out of place around or even on your subject its best to fix it before you take the image because if you don't like how it is before the image is taken then you won't like it when you have taken the image.
- Shots- Take more than one shot and get some in many different poses to help with the build of the small relationship between you and the subject to help them relax such as some funny shots. Then once you feel you have the image you would like still continue to get a few more to build up a collection.
